Jason Thomas Ellis is a global executive chairman with over 30 years of proven leadership across steel, manufacturing, and industrial operations. He leads complex industrial organisations through growth across international markets and multi-billion-dollar operations.
Throughout his career span, his leadership steered organisations in Australia, India, China, and Southeast Asia with operations ranging from USD25 million to more than AUD3.5 billion in revenue.
His senior role with BlueScope, Tata BlueScope Steel, Commercial Metals Company, and BHP Lysaght managed large-scale industrial operations, complex supply chains, and international teams. Today, Jason’s role as Executive Chairman of iTrade Steel Pty Ltd and Chairman of Empower Steel Australia Pty Ltd focuses on strategy and growth. As a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, he offers his expert financial insight and global operational expertise to every leadership role he undertakes.
